This is a must-read for fans of kick-butt fantasy series like Graceling, The Girl of Fire and Thorns, Grave Mercy or Defiance. Also, a cool thing to know about this book is that it is based on Korean mythology, something you definitely don’t see that often in the YA world! Oh, and it features Jindos….the most awesome dog breed you’ve never heard of.
But seriously, what is Prophecy about? Well. . . Kira’s the only female in the king’s army, and she’s also the prince’s bodyguard. She’s a demon slayer and an outcast, hated by nearly everyone in her home city of Hansong. And, she’s their only hope. . . .
